I found this marker while exploring alone, and a year later, I started to dream up a narrative about secret spiritualists still active today.  Once I realized that Rob would be the perfect, willing believer for such an adventure, the whole thing came together quite quickly. 

Rob answered the anonymous online ad and he asked me to join him in his investigations. We are both content creators and makers so we were both documenting the entire adventure.  Below is a video of our first mission.

I collected antiques and created old looking props to support the storytelling.  The various missions brought us to encoded messages, antique books, strange photographs, and this lapel pin pictured above which references the Odd Fellows, an fraternal order which ends up being an important part of the narrative. Below is a video showing some of the behind-the-scenes preparation I did.

After 10 weeks of chasing ghost stories, reading old news articles, and exploring cemeteries, the adventure brought us to a meeting of the Southern Spiritualists Association.  We were blindfolded and led inside a secret meeting location.  Once seated at a table, we were told we could take off our blindfolds and that George would be right in front of us.  I quickly scooted around the table and when Rob removed his blindfold, I held out my hand and said "Hello Rob, I'm George." Rob was stunned. The crowd around us, made up of our families and friends began cheering and we had a part to celebrate this great adventure.

A few months later, we recorded an 8-episode podcast in which we told the whole story.
